You are made perfect in His love!

 

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10

 

The love of God is the most awesome gift God has given mankind. The love of God has redeemed you and me from a disowned child to an adopted child of God born not by blood but by the spirit of God. It is so unfortunate that the world has misconstrued the word “love” to lust and selfish interest in helping and getting back in return.

The word love itself depicts God almighty. Love is unconditional and will not be applied to getting back in return. John 3:16 tells us how God so loved the world that He had to sacrifice His only son without asking you and me of anything but just to accept Him.  

A man or woman who has declared His/Her salvation ought to express love to God and to His/Her neighbor. Loving God will make you do the things of God and fulfill His commandments. Christ modified the Ten Commandments to two which is; love your neighbor as yourself and to love God with all you have. When you love your neighbor and love God with all your soul, it will be impossible to sin against Him. In other words, when you love God you get closer to be perfect and upright.
