The Word of life gives light

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.John 1:4 

 

What the scripture termed “life” is to have the breath of God. Since the sin of man, in the beginning, had separated man and God. Since then men have been lost to darkness. God is light and cannot associate with darkness.

 

The good news is that Jesus is life and in Him is the breath of God which gives light to men. John 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. Through Jesus, you that have been lost in darkness will be redeemed back to the light of God.

Ephesians 5:8 “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light” 

To remain in His light and to keep the life in you is by your daily lifestyle to meditating on His word. That same life which had redeemed you to light is the word of life. 1 John 1:1 “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life.”

 

Conclusion:

Jesus is the word of life, and this life gives light to all men to come to the Father.
