Don’t be depressed! 

 

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. Isaiah 49:13 

 

The Devil is often delighted to see you depressed. Depression comes in when you feel forsaken by God after several prayers and fasting and seeking His face for mercy. Don’t be dismayed! The Lord hears your cry and your pain. He knows what you’re passing through; Isaiah 49:15. One attack depression does is that it weakens your faith in God. You will keep doubting God’s promises when you are depressed. 

 

The secret to overcoming depression is to be joyful and giving of thanks to God. When you’re in a serious problem and still look joyful and giving God all the praises, you are confusing the Devil and enemies waiting to see you depressed. Isaiah 49:13 “Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.” It is an Heavenly balanced equation; singing and to be joyful so then the lord will turn your problems to a testimony.

Don’t be depressed! The Lord knows your pain instead keep singing and be joyful, the lord will comfort you and will give answers to all your prayers.
