Don’t hesitate to ask

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew 7:7

O
f most of the several miracles our Lord Jesus  has performed, partakers of these miracles have asked the Lord first for healings. Though Christ saw some of them sick, yet He want them to ask Him first before He heals anyone of them.
Same as we Christians, we need to ask the lord what we need from Him. But many assume God knows what they are passing through; yes He does, still they felt if they don’t ask God, He will deliver them knowing their struggles or what they actually needed. God understands everything about you and even what you are yet to ask. But He is well honoured and acknowledged if you ask Him first believing that He is the only one that can give you what you ever needed be it; healings, riches, spiritual gifts, blessings etc.
The reasons why many don’t ask arise because of doubt. When doubt sets in, you are reluctant to ask the Lord for what you need. As a Christian give no chance for doubt but let faith abide in your heart and anything you ask of Him will be done.

Conclusion:
Don’t hesitate to ask the Lord for anything you ever needed by letting faith abide in your heart always.

There are rewards for the meek

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.Matthew 5:5

There are rewards for the meek. The Bible has oftentimes praised those that have this virtue of meekness. Being meek is a virtue we as a Christian must have if we want to inherit the earth as assured by our Lord Jesus.
One case study of One who had this virtue of meekness was Moses  Numbers 12:3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.) if one studied the scripture well,  one will notice that of all the promises and blessings assured for the meek, Moses was blessed of these promises except His entry to the promise land. But our role model isn’t Moses despite the fact that He was the meekest man on Earth. Our role model is Christ Jesus. He had this virtue even till the point of death. what then are the rewards of the meek;

  • Psalms 22:26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
  • Psalms 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
  • Psalms 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Conclusion:
If you’re yet to have the virtue of meekness, ask the Lord today so that you will inherit the blessings of the earth even from Heaven through His grace.

Light of the world

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.Matthew 5:14

Christ has referred to us as the light of the world. A light is known to illuminate entirely all darkness.
In His awesome grace, Christ has translated us from the kingdom of darkness to Light Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
Before we knew the Lord we were in darkness all thanks to Him by whom  we are Children of Light through grace. So then we need to shine this light to men in darkness who are yet to see the Light (glory) of Christ in Out lives.
In Matthew 5:14 the Lord also referred to us as a City set on a hill that cannot be hidden because the glory of our lord would be so obvious that cannot be hidden.
How then can we shine this light so that men in darkness can partake in the light (glory) of Christ in us.
We shine this light by our good deeds having the Christ like nature in us, when men in darkness see this light, they would be interested to be children of light Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Conclusion:
Let your light shine to men so that they can be partakers of the grace of Christ in you, and if you’re yet to give your Life to Christ give him a chance now so that you will be called a child of Light.

You have victory over death

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.John 5:24

Every child of God has no other option but to live and declare the glory and works of our father because He/She has overcome death through Christ Jesus. Psalm 118:17
You might have been afraid of your present situation thinking if you will survive the present circumstances or die. But if you remember the promise Christ assured any believer that surrender all to Him that such a believer is passed from death to life; you will have a strong conviction that death has no place in you; Be it physical death or spiritual death. John 5:24
This is an assurance of your total victory over death, so far as you have accepted Jesus as your Lord; you shall not die.
Our Lord boastfully revealed Himself as the one who has the key of death and hell in Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. If our precious Lord has the key of death in his hands, will He open the door of death for any of His Children? God forbid. This is what the Holy Spirit made me to understand. So then cast all fears of death out of your mind.
Dear reader I hope you’re blessed by the message. Are you amidst some serious challenges that tend to shake your faith making you think you will die remember His assurance for us in John 5:24, death is not your portion and if  you’re yet to surrender your Life to Jesus do that now in Him your victory over death is guaranteed.

Conclusion:
Christ had overcame death. In His hand is the key of death and hell, So then cast all fears of death away.

Stand firm in Christ

If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.Hebrews 6:6

Christ has played a role by redeeming us from the curse of death and sins. Our salvation is grounded in Christ Jesus, moreover we have a part to play to be steadfast in faith. The Scripture has made us to understand that those who have tasted the grace of the Lord and were swayed away by temptations or enticement of this world, to redeem to them to Christ again is by the grace of God. A case study in the Bible of one who was in the faith but went astray was Demas. 2 Timothy 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
How then can one stand firm in the Christ? Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. To be steadfast in faith, we have to forsake some wrong lifestyles we had engaged in before we were saved. The scripture referred these lifestyles to the yoke of bondage. Let us therefore be careful. If you have been saved, you’re saved ones and for all.

 Conclusion:
We all have a role to be steadfast in faith, Christ has played His part by giving us salvation. We must therefore take heed else we fall away from the Grace.

The Spirit is above the Law

But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.Galatians 5:18

The Law was first given because of the sins and hardened heart of human. Though it was given to guide the Israelites so that they could be righteous but never made them righteous and it never stopped them from being ruled by the flesh. The Law couldn’t fulfill itself by making human righteous.
However, Christ purpose through the help of the Holy Spirit fulfilled the Law and this fulfillment is to make human righteous that is; to be above the law and sin. (Romans 8:4) “That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

There’s a condition in Gal 5:18 & Romans 8:4 ; for any believer that would live above the Law and the  works of the flesh such a believer must be prepared to be led by the Spirit. Being led by the Spirit encompasses all the fruits of the Spirit
Galatians 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
The Scripture clarified it that through these fruits of the Spirit there is no law.

Conclusion:
Do you want to be above the Law and the flesh. covet and ask God for the fruits of the Spirit today.

The Spirit of Christ gives Life

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.Romans 8:10

The spirit of life was first breathed into Adam. Adam became just like God because he had the Spirit of Life in Him not until the Devil stole this life from Him. Then man became lifeless when I mean lifeless, I meant a broken relationship between God and man. This then became a curse from generations to generations until God sent his son Jesus  the redeemer; to redeem us from the curse of death (Lifelessness). Christ is now the portal for Human to access God directly. in John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
For as many that have received and believed in Jesus, in them is given the Spirit of Christ.
  • The Spirit of Christ kills the works of  flesh in us so that our body is dead; that is inactive for sin (Romans 8:10).
  • We have been adopted by God through the Spirit of Christ therefore there’s no barrier anymore between God and us (Romans 8:15b).
Conclusion:
Without Christ in a persons life , such person is a living dead. If you have not received Christ today give him a chance now so that you will have the breath of God in you,  tomorrow might be too late.

Assurance of Wealth In Christ

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

Some people might have thought that being wealthy is against the Scripture or against God’s plan. Even if the Bible tells us that the love of money is the root of evil, the Bible never ascribe money as the root of evil but the love of money. In  Matthew 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” Christ explained it clearly; a rich man might be vulnerable to selfish ambitions and His focus might be shifted from the Kingdom if He is not careful, Christ never forbade us to be wealthy, after all He is wealthy but because of His love He became poor for us to enjoy eternal wealth and blessings. So many believers have confused Christ explanation on wealth, and they have had a negative mindset towards the Biblical view of wealth while some are afraid to be rich thinking that they might not make it to  heaven. Abraham whom God regards to the father of faith was extremely wealthy and also  King Solomon, job and many more ; same God we serve made them rich. And if we studied our Scripture well we will see an evidence that Abraham whom was extremely wealthy made it to Heaven; Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Conclusion
Christ has redeemed us from poverty to be wealthy and His will is for all believers to be wealthy. If you had thought that wealth is against God’s plan or being rich you wouldn’t make it to Heaven; you are absolutely wrong. Change your mindset today.

Call upon the Lord

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me :Psalms 50:15

There are times we fight troubles alone thinking it is none of Gods business; that it is something we can solve. In often times we think we are smart by struggling with some issues without calling on Christ. When we see ourselves wise in our burdens the Lord will leave us alone fighting these issues until we call upon Him. In psalms 50:15, God gave a condition before He assure us deliverance; this condition is that we should call upon him first acknowledging him that He is the one that can save us from our burdens. Also in Matthew 11:28 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Christ gave a condition which is coming to Him by acknowledging Him as the solution to the problems. Let our worries be taken to Christ first even though the problem is little and we think we can solve it let us acknowledge our Lord.

Conclusion: Dear reader are you amidst some problems fighting it all alone, acknowledge Christ as the only solution and take your worries to him and all your problems will be solved.

Charity

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.1Corinthians 13:13

When Jesus was addressing His disciples of what they ought to do telling them of when He was hungry , thirsty, naked, in prison and sick, that none of them ever tried to assist Him. They were surprised because they never noticed him hungry or thirsty Matthew 25:35-46 . But Christ figured Himself as people suffering out there needing food, Shelter or some medical assistance. Our righteousness is not complete if we don’t have Charity in us. in 1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. This verse tells us more how charity is invaluable. The part of charity in ones life is the trait of love in one. Anyone that love dwells in in Him God also dwells in. 1John4:16.
Having the virtue of charity is fulfilling the greatest commandments of our lord Jesus Mark 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” Christ never referred to the neighbors as the people close to us alone but people around us be it close or from a distance or strangers needing help.

Conclusion:
Without charity in our lives our righteousness is not perfect. When we fulfill charity in the lives of people we are fulfilling the greatest commandments by loving our neighbors as ourselves.

Be led by the Spirit

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41

The Bible has often told us about the flesh, when the scripture is telling us of the flesh is not the physical flesh we know but the Adam nature in us as human. Our redemption in Christ Jesus is to be above this nature of Adam. The natural man can be ruled by flesh but the spiritual man is always above the flesh because he is led by the spirit of God therefore he won’t fall into a temptation when it comes. Let your communion with the Holy Spirit be always and not when you’re in the mood to commune with Him. For instance the Spirit of God instruct you to go through the scripture but you’re feeling tired or lazy then the flesh is too weak to be subjected but your Spirit is active and willing, so therefore you need to subject yourself to the Spirit and not the flesh even though the flesh is tired or weak always listen to the Spirit. Whenever we listen and subject ourselves to the flesh we become lazy spiritually and we are susceptible to falling into temptations.

Conclusion: Be led by the Spirit today don’t subject your body to the flesh but always be in the spirit by your fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Greater is he living in you

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Your victory over the world is guaranteed in your confidence in Christ Jesus. You shouldn’t be moved by the terrors, principality or powers you see in the world but let your confidence be in Jesus who has made you a conqueror through Him who is the head of all principality and power be it in heaven or earth
Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
You might have been frightened by the present challenges you are facing but know that it’s transient and Christ has promised you victory over all Circumstances John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
In a present generation where there are plagues, disasters and wars everywhere your hope should be in Him who is dwelling right in you and all these things you will surely overcome.

Conclusion:
As a believer, you should be aware that Christ lives in you and in Him you are saved and made a conqueror.

Beware of false teachings

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8

We have been warned of false teachings or doctrine that might swayed us from faith, especially in the last days. A believer who has built a strong faith by the word of God  in Christ will not be easily tossed by strange teachings. In Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
The scripture tells us about how some false teachings can beguile Christians not rooted well in Christ. Our foundation should be strong in him, any teachings that is against or it is not in line with the gospel of Christ such teaching should be considered as doctrines of the Antichrist. Our goal is to preach and teach  the gospel of Christ to everyone around the world any other teachings should be a counterfeit of the gospel. When Paul was addressing the Galatians, telling them if an angel or any person  preach any other gospel other than the gospel of Christ such is cursed. He never exaggerated but trying to warn us. The Bible made us to understand that the Devil can disguise himself an angel of light.
2Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” therefore we need to be careful as there are many false teachers sent by the Devil to trap so many Christians.

Conclusion:
The scripture has warned us already of false teachings that will happen in the last days, take heed and be strong in faith by being deeply rooted in the knowledge of the word of God.

Be stronger by faith in Christ

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17

If you went through the Scripture well, you would noticed Christ warned the disciples several times of their weak faith they had in him, he often referred to them as men of little faith. A child of God should not have to relax by the faith He/She has in the Lord Jesus, a child of God is supposed to grow up in faith by consistency in studying and hearing of the word of God which is Christ Jesus. Christ has referred to himself as the word in John 1:1, to know more about our Lord we need to increase our enthusiasm for the word.
Being strong in faith make us to hold on to Christ till the end and not to be easily swayed by storms or tribulations of Life, For example the fear of the disciples in the ship with Christ when the stormy wind came, they taught they knew Christ well but they don’t if they knew the power in him they wouldn’t be frightened by the storm.
Matthew 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.” You must know our Lord Jesus very well by building your faith in Him through His word.

Conclusion:
Faith is a seed that needs to grow up in you through the consistent studying of the word thereby you’re familiar with Christ Jesus and bold to resist any storm or tribulations of Life.
The power of our faith in Christ

And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you. Luke 17:6

In so many miracles done by our Lord Jesus he has bore witnesses with  partakers of these miracles as those that have faith that he is able to free them from their infirmities.
There are so many examples of people documented in the Bible who received their healings through faith.
Christ made us to understand that as  little our faith is compared to a mustard seed we will command mountains, trees or anything to be moved if we believe in him. There’s a power in us in which it is required of us to unleash it through faith by God. A case study was the woman of Canaan whom Christ was reluctant to heal Her daughter from a demonic procession. But Christ noticing an uncommon faith in Her, healed Her daughter Matthew 15:22-28.
We all have a role to play for God to unleash His power in us and that role is having faith in Him that He is able to work great and mighty Ephesians 3:20  “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Dear reader are you in need of God supernatural power, your role is just for you to build your faith in him and all your visions , dreams, prayers and wishes will come true. And I pray as you build your faith, God supernatural power will begin to work in your life.

Conclusion:
Having faith in Christ is required for every believers that want to experience supernatural power. Build your faith in Him today and everything you ever needed will be done.

Walking with God in faith

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

If anyone wishes to walk with God to the end such a one must build His/Her faith in Him. Our God is invisible and a spirit but those who will commune with him must have faith that he is a living God yet not seen, not to be compared to idols which some idolaters worship. God chose Abraham as a father of faith because of his strong conviction of Him as a Living God and His promises made to Him yet not seen. this faith we see in Abraham is what we call the Abrahamic faith. All blessings prophesied to Abraham were fulfilled by Abraham’s faith in God. God’s blessings attached to the Abrahamic faith which was initially for Him and his generations is now our inheritance in Christ Jesus through our faith in the living God (Galatians 3:14)That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
It is now evident that we can only please God and inherit the Abraham’s blessings if we walked with him in faith. The very moment one stop walking with God in faith God leaves such person. A perfect example were the children of Israel who lost faith in God. (Deuteronomy 32:20) And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.
The only way you can please God and be entitled to Abraham’s blessings is when you walk in him through faith. I pray that the faith to be steady walking with God the Lord will bestow it upon you in Jesus Name.

Conclusion:
Faith is indispensable for us to walk, please and receive anything from God especially the Abraham’s blessings promised to Christians through Christ Jesus. We need to build our faith in God to walk with him perfectly.

The great mystery (rapture)

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1 Corinthians 15:51

One promise Christ has assured all saints is his second coming (rapture). Christ has often talked about his second coming as a sudden caught up of the saints; we know He never told us about the time but he gave us signs about the eminent of the rapture which are; wars, rumors of wars, pestilence (epidemics or pandemic of diseases) these are signs already manifesting in our present era; of which we are living witnesses, and the gospel of Christ preach everywhere all over the world. But the Devil seeing this signs, is working desperately to shift our focus from these signs to the things of the world of which are Written in  2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,” The Scripture made us to know his time is short. Christ has promised to take us (saints) from the surface of the Earth before the End comes and thereby changing us from mortal to immortal beings (everlasting) just like him as it is written in 1Corinthians 15:51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed”, The word “sleep” meant death; that is we shall not all die but be raptured. Believers should be earnestly awaiting the second coming of our lord Jesus as it can happen at any time from now. Earnestly expecting his second coming is a faith we have in Christ even believers in the grave that had this faith will be resurrected to meet him in the sky.

Conclusion:
We should be spiritual conscious of Christ second coming, though such a mystery has never happened before but through faith in Christ we believe he is coming again to take his saints.

Redemption from sin and death

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:2

The fall of man began since the time  Adam fell (sinned). The repercussion of  that sin was death. When the Bible tells us about  death, it meant a lot not just a physical death but a broken relationship between God and Man. Romans 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. from the time of Adam, man has been a slave to sin, the scripture expound on it that anyone who sins is a slave to sin and such a one will face death. Before a person became born again there have been a adam nature of sin in Him/Her that subdues the Spirit and make the flesh to rule over His/Her actions.  The good news is that Christ has redeemed us from sins and death, through Him our spirit is quickened to subdue the flesh. 1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. And also we have been brought to life through Christ Jesus 1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Conclusion:
If you’re still in the bondage of sin know that your liberty is in Christ Jesus, take your worries to him he will surely redeem you because we all have been promised redemption from sin and death through Christ.

Be not afraid

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.Romans 8:15

One of the greatest tools of the Devil is fear. The Devil uses fear often to attack Christians when they are amidst trials. The Scripture expound on this that fear always bring torment to one soul thereby one is vulnerable to dangers. One example of one who was tormented by fear in Matthew 14:28-31 was Peter; when Christ told him to come meet him he walked upon the water but when he noticed the great storm, he was tormented by fear and he lost his confidence in Christ and began to sink.1 John 4:18bbecause fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
One thing we should be aware of is we have received the Spirit of adoption being born of God in whom no fear ever existed in him so therefore we should be courageous and bold when we are faced by tribulations of this world. king David boosted of this spirit of adoption in; Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Conclusion:
You should know your right as a child of God as one who has received the spirit of adoption and not the spirit of fear. Be courageous and bold to overcome all present challenges facing you.

Aim to win the prize

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14

Are you aware that there are prizes prepared for you if you persevere with Christ to the end? In a letter Paul wrote to the Philippians, using himself as a case study he warned Christians trying to compromise their faith in Christ due to present circumstances and urging them to persevere with Christ which is far better off Philippians 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: We should be aware that the longer we live on earth winning souls to the kingdom and living for Christ sake we are entitled to several prizes. That was the reason Paul prayed to God to give him more time to live for Christ so that he can do more work for the kingdom sake and be entitled to more prizes and incorruptible crowns. He knew if he dies he would make heaven and if he lives there are more souls that will be won thereby Christ purpose  is being fulfilled in his Life Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Conclusion:
Dear reader are you amidst tribulations having the desire to depart, know that there are prizes and incorruptible crowns prepared for you; hold on to him to the end.

The Holy Spirit strengthens our weakness

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26

Christians should not rely on natural instinct whenever it comes to where to focus in prayer instead we should pray for the direction and help of the Holy Spirit. The Scripture describes the Holy Spirit as our helper and one who intercedes for us when it comes to prayer.
Praying to God is a spiritual communion we have with our Heavenly Father. It is necessary for one to be lead by the Holy Spirit to be able to know what to ask of him and not what to; as many pray without being lead by the spirit.
The scripture tells us that we don’t pray as we ought to; meaning that there are more to what we can ask or pray, the Holy Spirit is our helper during prayers.
Are there prayers you have been praying without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, submit yourself today call on Him to direct you to whatsoever you want to ask from  God.

Conclusion:
We can’t pray as we ought to without the Holy Ghost. Submit yourself to him today if you haven’t He will direct and  guide you on how to pray.

The power that works in us.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20

C
hrist has assured us of great and exploits works than what he did while on Earth. In Ephesians 3:20 talks about the power in us, do we know there’s a great power in us? That very hour a believer received the Holy Ghost He/She was bestowed power to do great and mighty things. It is left to us to discover our potential in Christ Jesus. Paul has testified this power of the Holy Ghost; that he could do all things through Christ that strengthens him.

Believers should unleash the power in them by exercising faith. The scripture brought to our awareness of growing up in unleashing the power to work signs and wonders Hebrews 6:2 “Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.”

From the scripture in Ephesians3:20 the Bible tells us if we ask or think, by our positive thoughts towards miracles we desire, God is willing to work these miracles by the power bestowed already in us.

Conclusion:

As a believer there’s a power already bestowed in you as much as the Holy Spirit dwells in you. Therefore you should know that whatsoever you think or ask God for he is willing to do great and mighty things through the power he had bestowed on you.

Be renewed in your mind

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; Ephesians 4:23

B
efore a believer gave His/Her life to Christ there were things or characters He/She had found Him/Her self-engaged in. Paul made himself an example: that there were things he found himself doing which were against his will (Romans 7:15 ) “For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.” Salvation is done by God by redeeming us from past deeds and iniquities but we have a great role to play by the renewal of our minds or thoughts by our daily enthusiasm for the word of God thereby our thoughts and mind is cleansed (Ephesians 5:26) “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,” the word here is described as a washing water that sanctifies us.  Our minds need proper cleansing to be inhabited by the Holy Spirit. Let us not compromise our faith by being conformed to things of the world but by renewing our minds daily through our fellowship with Christ through the word (Romans 12:2) “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Conclusion:

Let your mind be renewed and cleansed everyday by the washing water of the word (Ephesians 5:26) through that, your mind, thoughts or actions are being made stronger to overcome evil thoughts that would lure you to sin.
