Ungodly desperation But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.1 Timothy 6:9 It is the will of God for his children is to be wealthy and blessed; unfortunately so many are desperate for Wealth against Godly counsels. When desperation for wealth comes we are vulnerable to be trapped by the Devil which comes in various ways like fraud, robbery etc. If we are in need of wealth let us ask God for wealth and commit our plans to him he will direct us rightly. Proverbs 16:3 “Commit thy works unto the LORD, andughts shall be established.” The love of money can be the root of evil but money was never called the root of evil. Every believer can be as rich as anyone else even king Solomon was wealthy to the extent that the Bible can not estimate his worth. That was a very remarkable wealth. Conclusion: We fall into the trap of the Devil when we are desperate for wealth against the will of God. Let us take heed and commit our ways to him; in him is full of wealth and Blessings if we ask of him these things.
