God is Love

 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16 

The greatest Love ever shown was Christ the son of God sent to us by God to be sacrificed for the remission of our sins. This Love of God can not be compared to any Love we know; that is the reason why God referred to himself as Love that whosoever dwells in him should show this attribute; love.

The scripture had made it known to us that the commandments that is the Law is fulfilled by us through the Love of God  Galatians 5:14 “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

The First commandments and practices of the Law could not show man the right way to be righteous in   God, until Christ modified the Law by two great commandments which are; to love God with our hearts and soul and to love our neighbors as ourselves Mark 12:33 “And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

Let us exercise Love by showing it to everyone around us by so doing we are exhibiting Gods character of Love. Another way of showing Love is preaching the Gospel of Love which is Christ sent to die for our sins. When we preach and a soul is won we are giving the Love Christ showed to us to people yet born again.

Conclusion:

God is Love; as children of God let us show love to God and everyone around us even by preaching the gospel of Love which is Christ.
