Be strong in Grace

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1.

The Grace in Christ had been assured of us of total redemption and the forgiveness of Sins and the dominion over the works of the flesh Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.  it is the will of God to redeem us from Sins by the blood of Jesus. Being steadfast in the grace is by our own role through our daily enthusiasm for the word, guide by the Holy Spirit, by prayers, fasting and most importantly fleeing from every appearance of Evil. A believer that is born a New has many role to play by being consistent in the Grace or else He/She will backslide.
In a letter written by Paul to Timothy he gave examples of those who have backslided from the fait. He also warned believers of being in the gathering of people whose lives and communications do not glorify God; Such ungodly gathering pollute the Grace in a believer and more especially one who is not deeply rooted in Grace might compromise His/Her faith and could be easily swayed from Grace 2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Conclusion:
Christians shouldn’t be relax in the grace of Christ but should strive to be stronger and consistent in His Grace by studying the word, prayer, fasting and fleeing from Sins.
