Aim to win the prize

 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14

Are you aware that there are prizes prepared for you if you persevere with Christ to the end? In a letter Paul wrote to the Philippians, using himself as a case study he warned Christians trying to compromise their faith in Christ due to present circumstances and urging them to persevere with Christ which is far better off Philippians 1:23 “For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:” We should be aware that the longer we live on earth winning souls to the kingdom and living for Christ sake we are entitled to several prizes. That was the reason Paul prayed to God to give him more time to live for Christ so that he can do more work for the kingdom sake and be entitled to more prizes and incorruptible crowns. He knew if he dies he would make heaven and if he lives there are more souls that will be won thereby Christ purpose  is being fulfilled in his Life Philippians 1:21 “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

Dear reader are you amidst tribulations having the desire to depart, know that there are prizes and incorruptible crowns prepared for you; hold on to him to the end.
