what God has made pure can’t be condemned!
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. Acts 10:15
Acts 10:11-15
And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
Apostle Peter had always preached the gospel to the jew than he does to the non jewish people, Gentiles. He had taken the Gentiles as unclean or common men. On a faithful day the Lord showed Him a vision of creatures, animals descending from Heaven, of which Peter taught are unclean to eat, but the Lord told him to eat it them. The revelation was interpreted to him, that He should not call any man common or unclean.
This is one of the reason why the gospel have not been circulated. Some christians tend to be selective to preach the gospel to certain set of people. However there is no discrimination to people that are meant to hear the gospel. No man can be called common or impure to receive the good news of Christ.
Conclusion:
If you have been selective to people who should hear the gospel from you, it is about time you changed your mindset and preach the gospel to everyone irrespective of their religion, gender, race etc. God bless you.
