Pray For Everyone

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men:1 Timothy 2:1

It is very important that you include everyone in your prayers while praying for yourself. Aside your family, loved ones and friends it is necessary that you pray for people in authority; your pastors, governors, president and even rulers of your province. Because you have been commanded to do so and it is scriptural. 1Timothy 2:1-4  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.’ The last verse shows the reason why all men must be prayed for which is to save all souls to the kingdom. when leaders are saved they will lead the people rightly.

Another benefit of praying for others is that God will answer your prayers and double the things you have acquired. A perfect case study in this context is Job who prayed for His friends and God answered His prayer and made  Him to have twice the things He had before because He prayed for His friends. Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Dear reader I know you have been blessed this morning. One of the secrets of answered prayers is to pray for others, start including your friends, family and everyone around you in your prayers and see how the lord will enlarge you.

Conclusion:
It is important that you pray for everyone because it is scriptural, of which are blessings attached to it.
