Christ has the power to forgive sins

 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house: Matthew 9:6

Even before Jesus crucification on calvary, He had had the power to forgive any sin whatsoever one might have committed and this is the purpose of his birth. Many had thought He was given the authority after His death on the calvary, however, His death on the cross was  to shed His blood so as to be an atonement for the forgiveness and redemption thereof to whosoever surrenders His/Her life to Him. (Ephesians 1:7 )’In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;’ and through His blood we can come boldly to the presence of our Heavenly father, having been assured that our sins are forgiven.

One important thing to know is that; when Christ forgive you of your sins, this forgiveness will birth a new change in your life just as the case of the man troubled with palsy was made whole after he received forgiveness for his sins. (Matthew 9:6) But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

Dear reader i know God has spoken to you this morning, are there sins you had thought you can never receive forgiveness from God ?, I bring you good news that Christ the son of God has the power to forgive you. Take a step today, confess the sins and pray and ask Christ to forgive you from your sins.

The son of God has the power to forgive anyone from any sin whatsoever. through him is forgiveness and redemption with no condemnation.
