The Benefits of doing the Lords will 

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. Luke 6:48

There are rewards if you are a true follower of Christ and one who does His will. The scripture expounded on this giving benefits of being a true doer of the Lords will. Of utmost benefit of doing the Lord will is that you will not be moved away from the trials or tribulations of life because you are on the solid rock which is Christ Jesus. The Bible gave evidence of this in 1 Corinthians 10:4. ‘And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.’ whosoever is in Christ can not be shaken by temptations,  fear, death or sickness. Christ gave another benefit that whosoever follows His will will not die,  but shall be changed on the last days from a mortal flesh to an immortal body just like He is. 1 Cor 15:52
