Are you on the path to eternal life or damnation
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; Matthew 13:41
So many of us are seldom cautious of the eternity. Have you ever asked yourself if you’re on the path to eternal life or the path to eternal damnation which is hell. Christ had often emphasized on things about hell than heaven itself, He had given parables about the eternity on many cases. A very popular parable Christ gave about heaven and the judgement on the last day was the parable of a man who sow a good seed of wheat in a field, only for his servant to discover tares (weeds) in the field. Matthew 13:25 ‘But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.’The enemy here signifies the Devil , the wheat signifies the saints while the tares(weeds) signifies the those who failed to repent of their sins. Our lord Jesus expounded on it that on the day of harvest the tares would be separated from the wheat and the tares will be burnt. Matthew 13:30 ‘Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.’ The day of Harvest signifies the judgement day and the fire which burns the tares(weeds) signifies the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15 ‘And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.’
Conclusion:
Dear reader, there’s eternity for everyone be it the saints and those that failed to repent of their sins. Are you on the path to eternal life or damnation? make the perfect choice today by having a good relationship with Christ .
