How long will this wicked community grumble

t has been the habit of many to complain and grumble
when things they expected is yet to happen in their lives. Some will even go to
the extreme and abuse the name of God as if He never existed. We should be
mindful of how we react and take matters with patience. Let us Hope that God is
not slack in His promise.
Complaining and grumbling to God will not make Him
hasty in His promise but will rather get Him angry. Instead, always give Him
thanks for the things He had done and the things He is yet to do. The Israelite
failed to give God thanks of how He took them away miraculously from the Land
of Egypt. They complained against Him that He had taken them out of the Land of
Egypt to suffer and starve them of Hunger in the wilderness. This act of
ingratitude made God to extend the time they ought to use in the wilderness.
Numbers 14:2, 33
Dear reader, I believe you have been blessed this
morning. To every problem you have give thanks to God, and don’t complain.
Complaining will not make Him hasty in His promises, but when you offer Him
thanks He will answer you hastily and miraculously.
Prayer: Father, in any way I have wronged you by
complaining and showing ingratitude, Lord show me mercy and give me the grace
to always give you thanks in every situation.
