The
God that breaks protocols
“Then
Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; tomorrow about this time shall a
measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a
shekel, in the gate of Samaria.” (2kings
7: 1)

ur God doesn’t follow human protocols or perceptions
to make the impossible possible. Instead, He breaks Human protocols and
barriers to set or do what we think it is impossible. Some changes can be
impossible to achieve if judged by society capacity or by man intelligence.
God has been breaking barriers and He is still doing
so till today. He set a big record of a great financial breakthrough in Israel.
In those days, there was a great famine-like it had never happened before that
a donkey’s head was sold for 80 shekels of Silver and people cooked their
children to eat. 2 Kings 6: 24-29
God spoke through His prophet saying “by this time tomorrow, a measure of
flour, two measures of barley will be sold for a shekel at the gate of Samaria”
Though this prophecy came from God it may sound crazy to an atheist who may
believe God doesn’t exist let alone to make such a huge financial turnaround. A
shekel then in those days is somehow similar to 1-dollar. Take, for instance, a
man of God says a bag of Flour or Rice will be sold for 1-dollar by tomorrow at
this hour that is how God can change a person’s life or a Nation in less than
24 hrs.
However, what may prevent the good promise of a
turnaround is unbelief. When the Prophet gave that prophecy that “by this time
tomorrow, a measure of flour, two measures of barley will be sold for a shekel
at the gate of Samaria” A man stood against this saying which prevented Him
from being a partaker of that turnaround because He did not believe in God. 2kings 7: 1-2
Dear reader, I trust you are blessed this morning.
It is not late for God to change your situation; If He gave you a promise,
either from His word or from His prophet believe in Him. He is the God that set
records and make the uncertain to be certain.
Conclusion:
God has been breaking limits and He can still do in your life if you can pray
and believe in Him.
