Judge not!

“Judge not, that ye be not judged.” Matthew 7:1 

 

You may have thought that judging a person by their wrongs is a way to correct them, it isn’t. As a believer, you are not meant to judge an unbeliever or judge a believer that has fallen, instead of judging them you pray for them and correct them. 

The Bible says if a person does wrong you restore Him with meekness that is; you correct Him nicely and not in a way that seems as tho you’ve judged Him.

 

Galatians 6:1 “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.”

 

Your judgment on a person can make Him/Her sad to an extent of leading them to depression. Judging people by their wrongs won’t make them repent.

It is not your role to judge anyone irrespective of how terrible they are. Yours is to correct them with meekness just as the Bible instructed you. 

Dear reader, I believe you are blessed this morning. Judge not! But correct people with meekness.
