 Beware of eye-services!

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. Ephesians 6:8

It is habitual for many people to work under their masters or in the Church expecting people to notice their hard. Your services should not rely on what you want people to see but what you can give  work the best. Ephesians 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. Even if you were working under a person, let your service be akin to a service for Christ by putting all effort to your work with sincerity of the heart. It should not be because you want people to notice you so that you can receive rewards from them. The Bible alluded to this as hypocrisy.

For a Christian working in the church, your intent to rendering service to the church should not be for the congregation to notice and praise you. Your intent should rather be that you are rendering services as a faithful servant of Christ whose reward is from God. Ephesians 6:8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

Dear reader, I am happy you read all through . Focus on what you will get from God and not from people when  you are rendering services.

Conclusion:

Always render services from your heart with all sincerity. Do not do eye-services because the Lord detest such. Expect rewards from God.
