Our inheritance in Christ Jesus 

 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.Ephesians 1:14

We have been promised of redemption through the blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1:7). Christ has also purchased our possessions by His crucification on earth for us to be entitled to everything He was eligible to as the son of God. Through the grace of God, we are adopted to be sons and daughters of Him and then we are heirs to the inheritance guaranteed for us.

The role of the Holy Spirit in our promised inheritance:

The Holy Spirit is our guarantee of our inheritance of the possessions Christ purchased for us through grace. Through the Holy Spirit all rights the son of God has we are entitled to likewise (Ephesians 1:13-14) in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. In (Ephesians 1:14) the Bible tells us that the fulfillment of our inheritance to everything Christ was entitled to, is for the glory of God. That is; when believers exhibit everything Christ did while on earth through the power of the Holy Spirit, men will wonder and give God all the praise.
