Hearing of the word births faith 

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:17

The more we study the word the more revelation of the knowledge of Christ is revealed to us. Faith is a seed that needs constant watering of the word to grow, Christ has often warned his disciples of their little faith several times because they don’t know enough of how powerful He is; if they knew they wouldn’t be scared by the storm that tormented them in the ship despite Christ being with them. The word of God is Jesus, knowing him well depends on how much faith do one have in Him. That is why the word of God is very indispensable for us in other to build our faith in him. When we hear, study the word we get more familiar with Him. Let your faith grow by the steady watering of the word of God.
